The Konopiste clubhouse is one of two designs created for the Konopiste Resort, a development of a number of projects designed by 11 leading Czech, Slovak and international architects.

The clubhouse pushed the practices agenda for technically advanced, resource efficient, organic architecture. the monocoque structure allows the roof to effortlessly float above the glazed exterior, providing generous views to the stunning Konopiste countryside.

Inside the clubhouse is a unique stalactite and stalagmite shaped fireplace that creates a warm focus around which an organically shaped lounging piece was designed. This clubhouse is quite remarkable form a number of perspectives and will provide its users with truly recuperative spaces, contributing to their wellbeing.

It is with great thanks to the Kaplicky Centre that Iguana Architects is able to show this work.
